Another French book on mail art was published in 2002 by the Editions Alternatives in Paris. The author Renaud Siegmann had a chronicle on correspondence art in the zine "PLUMES" between 1994 and 2001.
Well connected with the network this resulted in a splendid book edition called "Mail art, art postal, art posté"
Size: 27 X 26,5 cm
The book contains an important chapter on Ray Jonhson
considered as the founding father of modern mail art.
Photos and art of Ray Johnson reproduced in Siegmann's book are all from the collection of Guy Bleus, one of the mail art pioneers in Belgium.
