THE MUSEUM OF TEMPORARY ART
I really love this project developed by Debby Rebsch and Benjamin Böhm in Germany.
You mail a small object linked with a memory and it is put in a box of 40X50 cm with 33 compartments. Your contribution will replace another item, that's why it is a museum of temporary art. The whole project is documented on a site and by book art.
Above are books 1 and 3. All pages contain the objects in color, printed on the background of the file about the objects.
Size: 20,5 X 14 cm
Page on exhibit 201:
a wooden fork designed to eat chips and curry sausages; found on a Christmas market in Germany,
which explains the funny title:
I once was a Christmas tree
(object sent by Angela Stadthaus)
Debby has a new address in Cambridge, England till March 2006.
So check the site first if you want to contribute. (GV)
