Okay, Cooltan started as a group of artists who squatted empty buildings to turn them into art centers. They did this with an abandoned Tan factory, with unemployment centers and libraries.
Now the center has a location in Camberwell London and gives a voice to women who were victims of domestic violence situations or who suffer from a handicap.
Michelle is a poet and a graphical artist and we became friends after being introduced to mail art projects by Julia Tant, who was at that time also a Cooltan member.
This book called an "INTRODUCTION TO LENNON'S ON SALE AGAIN" is one of the many book productions I received from Michelle during the years and is a good testimony of Michelle's social concerns. I've often said about her and many others like her: "she's a radical because she cares about the human race". Even when we disagree, I can't stop loving or caring about her because we share the same world visions and we care about the same individual and global situations. (GV)

The next book production is called "I'M ELIMINATION, REITERATION" and saw the light in 2002 though it is based on performances Michelle made in the late eighties, in which she used a life size rag doll as an alter ego.
