THE MAIL ART OF THE FUTURISTS
This is the case with this book that came to my way again thanks to the Posada bookshop in Brussels.
It contains the correspondence art between the Italian futurists, with an introduction that links this practice with the New York Correspondence School of R.J. around 1962. Bill, this is the kind of book you can't miss!
Size: 18,5 X 24,5 cm
Cover is the reproduction of a postcard by the Italian futurist Balla to Michel Seuphor, another giant of the Belgian modern art scene, anacronym of Orpheus, though his real name was Fernand Berckelaers, editor of the Belgian Dada zine HET OVERZICHT (the SURVEY), one of the most important zines in the Belgian modern art scene. A fascimile edition of the whole zine production exists and yes, it's somewhere in my library ... (GV)
