This is a blog on artist books, artist notebooks, magazines, poetry editions and other small print publications. Like FRIOUR is the Icelandic word for peace, BOKLIST are the Icelandic words for book (bok) and art (list). This is also a group blog in which those who are invited can upload their own books and/or comments.

I knew Bensidon from the artistamp catalogue published by the French Postal Museum.

Since a while he diffuses a new project in which he sends you a postcard with one of his artistamps on a certain theme. The card is blank except his stamp.
He asks you to complete the card on the same theme and return it to him. Then he unites all received cards in a xerox produced booklet.

This is the one I received September 12, 2005.
The theme for this issue was "collage".

Size: 15 X 21 cm
Pages: 52

P30, the contribution of Diane Bertrand, Canada on the memory of Marilyn Dammann (the second stamp on the card is an original work of MD)

Eric's new project is to back Faty Mayant, an African woman who was fired because she protested against the low wages certain hotel chains in France are paying some of their workers (less than 2 dollars, pure third world exploitation).

So if you travel to France, boycot the hotels of the Accor group (Etap, Formule 1, Frantour, Ibis, Mercure, Novotel & Sofitel to name a few)

If you want to participate on this theme for Eric's new booklet, use the stamp Eric made and integrate it in a postcard creation and mail to:

Eric Bensidon, 14 rue Sauffroy, F-75017 Paris, FRANCE.
